That is very interesting. I have never heard that before but intuitively the idea has great appeal.

I wonder if there is a correlation somewhere of the rate of postal increases to CPI. If the rate of postal increases are greater than CPI for the past 30 years, then the idea might have real merit.

P.S. I'm in Royal Oak Michigan, so we give the Post Office anything they want, without question. We don't want anyone "going postal". We invented that, er concept.
