Sadly, the British have lost many rights that we enjoy in the United States.

We shall suffer the same fate if we don't protect our freedoms. That's why I stand up for hunting. It is an ancient and honorable activity.

Slaughter is the objective of meat counter at Safeway, and of Safeway's customers--including presumably yourself unless you subsist entirely on minerals. Hunting is not slaughter. It's a chase that is entirely within the life design deer go by, and has a more humane result than either starvation or death by natural predator.

Cultural warfare is being waged against hunting and many of the ideals that I've held my entire life. I deeply resent this, because I'm a peaceable man and I don't want to interfere with the activities of others.

Loss of cherished traditions notwithstanding, the very best scenario for deer birth control is an expensive bureaucracy that sucks money out of your pocket. The same effect can be had by sustaining an activity that puts money back in your pocket one way or the other.
