I think a big chunk of the underperformance in gold stocks relative to the metal in the past 2 weeks has been GLD, pure and simple. The trading volumes have been huge, and it would be foolish to assume there hasn't been a lot of rotation going on....if I'm right, it should be about over with and the stocks should move up again next week.
