OT The army has been working on something similar but for very different reasons. They was a helmet mounted camera along with HUD eye-piece so that in urban warfare (or recon missions) all members of the team can get real time intel about position and views of other team members. The set up can also be used for post action analysis and perhaps legal purposes.
