Roger,

Don't have time to go into selling calls and puts, but they are meant to be sold! Remember sell calls when stocks start looking weak and sell puts when stocks start looking strong! If one can time the market then buy puts and calls, but I have never seen anyone that could time the market day in and day out! If you sell calls be willing to go short the stock and if you sell puts be willing to buy the stock if they go against you! Remember one is selling time value which tend to expire worthless most of the time! I have always made more money in anything that I have ever done by putting money in my pocket not by writing a check!
