There have been 2 assassinations of Sunni clerics in Iraq who opposed the elections and presumably the US over the past week. Has there been anything in DEBAK or elsewhere as to who might be behind this? I'd like to think that the US is now deploying Israeli tactics of taking out the leaders. Let the leaders suffer and you get the upper hand. If they know they can't preach hatred without the risk of getting killed, they will be silenced.

If they fight from a Mosque, the Mosque should be destroyed. If clerics preach Jihad, they become military targets.
