One interesting tidbit of information that I recently heard on CNN is that 31 out of every 32 sociology professors are Democrats.

The right would dismiss this sort of statistic as proof that Universities are hotbeds of liberal propaganda. I find it interesting that such a large percentage of those very bright people who study history, philosophy and the organization of culture do not buy into the Republican point of view.

The above information was part of piece where Republican students were complaining because they usually got shouted down on campuses when they tried to get the Republican message out.

The thing is the Republicans almost seem the enemy of intelligent thought. Bush cirtainly doesn't appear to want to hear any opinion that doesn't agree with his. He won't admit to mistakes.
