Hi Sam,
Since reading your message I tried displaying pictures on my TV from my SPA for the first time. The quality was definitely better using my 800 x 600 InFocus DLP X2 projector; better colors, better linearity, better apparent detail.
So far, I've only displayed photos that had been developed using a scanner. Tomorrow, I'll have some Thanksgiving photos that will go from my digital camera to the SPA via a CF card. Again, I am mainly interested in the SPA from an investor's standpoint. That is, how much consumer demand will there be for such a product? I think that your wife's opinion of the SPA will be better than mine, so let me know what she thinks of it. I've looked mainly at closeup photos of my grandkids, and have been quite happy with combination of the SPA and the X2.
Yesterday, Mobile planet had the SPA for $29.95 with a 3-4 day delivery. Today, the advertised price is the same, but it won't be available until 15 December. It looks like someone made a mistake regarding availability.

I've been watching my local Costco store for the SPA, but so far haven't found any.
You are right, the SPA fits right in with the SanDisk "film" sold at the local supermarkets.
I'd like for SanDisk to manufacture an inexpensive CF card holder, with maybe 20 or 25 slots. . Each slot could hold a "roll" of exposed "film". Slot #1 could be reserved for an index CF card to make finding photos easier. A few years ago, Siemens had an MMC holder that had a 10-card capacity.
