Sam,

I think that price level cannot generate profits. Intel, AMD and Samsung all lost money on their flash memory products. Do you know where SanDisk stands in the food chain of memory ? Do they benefit from the woes of flash makers (in the same sense as Dell benefits from over-supply of disks), or do they share the pain ?

For sure, SanDisk's profits have been impressive, and their P/E is low. At the current price, the risk looks low.

I am curious why Lexar is doing so badly ? do you have any idea ? Is it a management problem ? It seems strange that SanDisk makes so much profit, and Lexar makes nothing. In the same business.
