What's making the electricity keep going out? We're headed in a few hours to our daughter's house, so will get to see everyone, except one son and d-i-l, who are out of state...darn it! I REALLY miss them!
As I said, I made F a special pre-T-Giving dinner last night...today we'll have turkey and the fixings, but last night, I made a roasted capon, with some of the fixings....cranberries (by scratch) were already made, so did mashed potatoes, turnips (yuk, but he likes them), tiny peas (CZ had LOTS of fun eating these too...), and stuffing. Oh, and the Angel Biscuits were terrific, if I do say so myself. All I have to do today is just pat them out, then bake before we leave.
Hope you get that turkey cooked! We had that happen one Thanksgiving. PB&J might have been the menu... And twice over the years, we had the disposal give out...leaving a stopped up sink, with no plumbers until the next day.
