Speculation

Hyperbole

*And*
I assume that you brought up the story about the mexican police to illustrate that I shouldn't judge before having all the facts. What most people forget is that "innocent until proven guilty" is "in the eyes of the law". I can speculate all that I want on someones guilt or innocence. Just as you can....and do. You don't have all the facts and I don't have all the facts...so, why don't we both just STFU about it.
If you think that deer are being hunted into extinction, I would suggest that you research that a bit. I have never hunted with a gun. I have hunted for lobster (called bug hunting, BTW). I have also hunted scallops. Both by hand. I have fished too. So I guess that I am one the evil murdering bastards. I do value all life though. As do most hunters. Most hunters have a better understanding of the cycle of life *and* humanity. Hunting organizations like "Ducks Unlimited" are famous for fighting for and preserving habitats for wildlife. Yes, they are selfish because it provids ducks for them to kill, but it also allows many more ducks and other species to thrive.
Why would I trash the logic of something that I agree with. It is not logical to hunt a species to extinction. And I don't consider them a race. They aren't a race. They are a species. Just like we are a species. What you fail to realize is that we are *animals*. That the same rules that apply to other animals apply to us. We are not separate from the ecosystem, we are part of it. Baleen Whales kill million of krill and other small crustaceans every time they decide to chow down. Toothed whales kill many many fish...and orcas even kill there brothers...the baleen whales. These swimming mammals of higher thinking..the whales, are MURDERERS!!! they kill krill, fish and other mammals from the same genus!!!! Lions kill animals too. Wolves kill deer, People kill deer...and you know what, Your mere existence on this planet kills.....MURDERS!!!! many animals every single day. Your home, I assume a permanent dwelling, displaces THOUSANDS of animals from their natural habitat. Displacing animals from their natural habitat ends up killing them.
The difference between you and I, apparently, is that I consider humans to be part of the ecosystem. You seem to consider yourself to be somehow above it. I believe that the same rules that apply to other animals, also apply to us.
And I still say that killing a deer who has lived in its natural habitat for its entire life is much more humane than what we do to cattle, chickens, pigs...etc... |
