First of all, Vladushka (ie Lenin) and his monuments are to be found, if still at all, in those places, where people meet. And, belive me, people were there first (g).
Second, the flags are not red, they are orange, meaning the prowestern, pro-Yushchenko, Pro-Europe side (Lviv, Bukowina,Chernowitz - places that have their share of European history,for instance Austro-Hungarian heritage, Unitarian Church, an idea what a state is about etc). The other, opposite colour is blue, standing for the eastern, pro-Russian,Orthodox, Donetzk basin etc kind of side.
