But on deer - if you were, like me, trying to encourage growth of vegetable matter on a not particularly easy BC hilltop, and those crafty little four-legged eating-machine vermin were doing all they could to destroy your work, you just might, like me, be planning for the best view of the garden from the house, the Throne, a mount for a .50-cal machine gun - Thoreau and Gandhi and Lincoln and Tolstoi be damned, harrumph |
