car wreck du jour...NISSAN WILL SUSPEND most of its Japanese production for five days because of a scarcity of steel. The auto maker said the closures reflect strong demand for new models and called the shortage temporary. Other Japanese car makers are scrambling to ensure they have enough steel to maintain output. 8:39 p.m
