Actually, there is no free ride. The accumulation of U.S. dollar "reserves", by foreign central banks, has subsidized the U.S military. The declining U.S dollar, is the world's way of reigning in, the monster it's subsidies created. "Why does Canada deserve to get free/subsidized defense from the US?" D
