If true, then excellent news, perhaps, although the next beast may be less reasonable.

If North/South unite, and South gets the nukes, then no more need for US troops on the Peninsula, freeing same for duty in desert, but leaving Japan to deal with a new equal with a score to settle :0)

China, not having to deal with a N.Korea and not having to be concerned about Japan, can perhaps concentrate on somewhere else ;0)

Russia, not having to worry about N.Korea, Japan, or China, can concentrate full energy on bringing order and pre-emptive regime change to the Ukraines :0)

And since everyone, particularly Korea, will need to spend moolah, lots of it, there will likely be far fewer bids for US Treasuries as each central bank, knowing the score, try to front-run each other ... ooooh, ugly.

In any case, buy the dips and sell the euphoria.
