Thinking more about the movie, "Chicago" during a slow start for me on the market.
Chicago is a fun way to learn something, if a person wants to learn while having fun. I do and young children do. And that is why we are on the fast track of learning. <g>..
But anyway, Chicago showed to a Tee the validity of the "sheeple" description of people. How they follow the latest fad, murder in this case.. How they can be so easily manipulated, the media, the populace, a jury.. Just pull their strings. And how shallow the general population is. They will crowd the media for the latest spectacular murder trial then and NOW. Think Laci Peterson trial as how much time was spent on that compared to the real problems going on with our election and in Iraq. But I don't blame the media, For they GIVE the people what they WANT. But on the other hand, if the media is IN on the GIG, Hmmm..<g>. They can sure provide a lot of smoke and mirrors so easily.. And the sheeple will bite..
It sure says something and it's not good, never has been and never will.. Oh, one more think. <g> Think latest Xmas fad, thinking of CNBC as the cats and kittens on there are purring away about "Black Friday".. Oh....
And one more little example. It shows on SI too, how people jump on something so easy, how they like to "pile on" just to be on what they think is a "popular" side. No matter how momentary.. No matter how wrong..
And it has happened through out the ages. Just think of how the despots have gained power.
