If you protest the war, and the way your taxes are being spent, I would argue you are less responsible. So are you now admitting that you ARE in fact responsible- being both a taxpayer AND a supporter of the mission, and of the mission commander? I will be happy to take my small share of responsibility- for paying taxes, and choosing not to go to jail over my beliefs, if you will step up and take YOUR share of responsibility. Actually, I'll take responsibility even if you don't, because it is the right thing to do (imo, of course).
