Lots of wood being ruined by the beetles here in Montana also. Then the radical enviros use the courts, protests, physical obstruction, intimidation and anything else they can think of to prevent salvage operations. Things get postponed until most of the wood is ruined, then it does not pay to even salvage what is left.
