I have consistently spoken out against the war -- there is nothing unpatriotic about dissent. The suppression of dissent before the war helped get us into this mess. Our actions have supported the enemy -- you should decide whose side you are on. I have not been willing to sit silent while our policies inflict pain on innocent people while spreading and encouraging terrorism. We are not waging a war on terrorism and we are not stopping the spread of WMD -- quite the contrary, we have opened the door for Iran and North Korea while providing a recruiting bonanza for terrorists.
