Like I said - jumping to conclusions. There was nothing in that article to indicate he was doing anything remotely like what you assume. If you are, in fact, a teacher as you imply (God, what a scary thought!), you set a piss poor example for your students jumping to conclusions without knowing any of the facts. And if you express such hostility toward religion or toward individuals who are religious in front of your students as you have expressed here, you have absolutely no business being in a classroom. You see, teachers are not supposed to denigrate or work against religion either.
