Ray, there's a longstanding pattern of offshore money used to subvert democracy. Offshore fronts have a long history with those involved with BCCI, Iran/Contra, Iraq/Iran War, the S&L scandals, Enron etc....all having to do with the bush family and their flunkies.
The background that Madsen provides brings the larger picture into the electronic voting travesty in a way that anchors it to the bushs' MO. In that respect it's important to keep that history in mind when moving forward into the voting machine web.

MO is a very useful piece of criminal investigation so it's not surprising to see it being established by the more hardnosed investigative journalists.
The circle within which to investigate is significantly narrowed as soon as the threads into offshore money are seen.
That arena is dominated by a very particular set of players.
