I believe Brinker's position in 1987 was just as it is today, stay fully invested. His model did NOT give a sell signal before the crash, nor thereafter. That is why I get a little nervous sometimes about the accurate claims that "the model has remained correctly bulllish since..." I think the fact is, the model has never been anything but bullish in history. That begs the question, how do we know it will turn bearish EVER? And if it does, how do we know that it will do so at the correct time?
