I see you ignored the rest of my reply that just might
explain why they were against any use of force or enforcement
of UN Resolutions. It would stop the gravy train of illegal
bribes, illegal arms sales to Saddam & the lucrative
contracts, all dolled out for protection so Saddam could stay
in power, keep his ties to terrorist groups & resume his WMD
programs the minute sanctions were removed.

But hey! You can cling to your false belief that the
thoroughly corrupt UN, France, Russia, China & Germany were
somehow right that Saddam should have been left in power.

But then you also have to discredit the Iraq Survey Group
that proved Saddam was a genuine threat & he continued to be
egregiously in violation of UN Resolutions.
