Good news and nice to hear them folks are very rational and spendthrift. Besides, I much rather pay $100 (not 500 maglevs) for a fast Beijing-Shanghai rail trip. And it's much more affordable for most Asian and Chinese tourists to make the commute. Airlines hate the more economical option. Four to five hours by high speed rail versus two by air, but can see much more than clouds.
