I didn't say I actually did that, although chances are I have done it at some time or another. My wife tends to be confrontational about bad behaviors, and it amuses me that after provoking one she will then look to me to pitch in, and of course I am obliged to. The trouble is, women tend to confine confrontations to the verbal, while male companions tend to quickly escalate to the physical. It's just Mars-Venus. I am getting a bit old for black eyes or bloody noses, so I try to get her to cool it as best I can. When we go out on the town it can turn into a real adventure. :-)
