Summing up your posted article from my perspective, George Bush stated "I'm surely not going to justify war based upon God. Understand that," and the writer failed to notice or give creedence to this, though it was said by George indeed.

I like to think Bush isn't as religious as he seems. I certainly don't need religion to justify our action in Iraq.

I'll add here that I myself will say I believe in God, in the simple sense of a "higher power," the existence of which I deem logical without proof. My Presbyterian roots were weak enough that I was not required to attend Church on Sundays at all growing up, and as family we did not, not even on special occasions. I did attend a few Sundays School sessions as a small guy(5-10 years old), just to accompany my friend who had to go and requested my presence, and I became a member in Junior H.S. just out of curiousity. I don't believe in any specific religion today, and can scarcely fathom how anyone can become so sure one religion tops the others so as to become a true believer.
