Hi Gloop,

This is an incredible case-- incredible in the sense of being just unbelievably sad. And we're learning more every day, it seems. I'm stunned that Vang was a trained sharpshooter in the CA National Guard. My feeling at this point is that he snapped and methodically murdered those people.

FWIW, I felt that Grainne's comment was awful and told her so publicly. I wish she had apologized. But I also think that a number of SI people have been acting foolishly about this incident with her and I hope it stops soon. IMO the anger should be directed at Vang for the murders, not at Grainne for a really stupid post.
