Three things the Democrats could do IMMEDIATELY to BEGIN the long process of survival:

1) Dump the Global Warming Fraud-and never mention it again. This is the first step toward kicking the ruinous addiction to general enviro-whacko insanity, and would clean many of the most OBNOXIOUS lefties out of the party right away.

2) Do a 180 on the Iraq War and start calling it what it is: A CRITICAL early step in a generation-long war against radical Islam. This would put the party ahead of George Bush, who is STILL getting away with the distortion that this is just a "war on terror". PATRIOTISM worked for Truman, Kennedy, Roosevelt, and many others. Just exactly WHY do you believe that an American political party HAS to be anti-American?

3) Stop the class hatred-at least enough to accept supply-side economics. Jack Kemp was RIGHT: There is a huge increase in federal revenue generated by reductions in marginal tax rates and taxes on capital formation. You Dems will always want to sell yourselves on robbing the working public and transferring the money to your worthless constituents. Then AT LEAST be a LITTLE innovative and original and accept the sure-fire way to CREATE that money. We can all fight over what to do with it later.

The Democrat party is the longest continuously-surviving political party in human history. It would be a REAL SHAME if you Dems blew it all simply because you couldn't out-think Michael Moore...
