I said there were similarities between the South and the Nazis and not that the South was a replica of a Nazi regime.

This whole line of conversation started in response to Gustave's assertion that " But all Adolf Hitler wanted to do was to turn Europe into another Bible Belt. "

He meant a European version, and not an exact replica.
