We don't either....but this is I think, a first for Dell. F said the price has already come down on this size from about $6,000 to now about $2,000..... Our old thing downstairs is just ancient...it has a furniture cabinet, so first he thought we could find one to fit....I'l sick of the cabinet too, and the TV's with flat screen were just too expensive...so that was that for awhile...

Next, he likes the painting about where the TV has to go...so whatever it is, can't be taller than the bottom of that. So that was that for awhile.

The guys at Magnolia told us we didn't want a screen attached to the wall. If we moved, we couldn't take it with us...and the only wall that would work is the fireplace wall, and that's unworkable for the TV...

Next, to decide on plasma or LCD....He says plasma is better...I don't know, but a person told me differently....(Typical, eh?)

I want a place where all the cords will be stored, and not hanging around. Also want a TV that either has a DVD or we can have one to add....

Next, we'll have to have a VCR too, so as to watch some of the old tapes (including some family stuff) that are on that....

Next, we'll have to get equipment where we can burn the tape to the DVD....

Let me see, so far, I've added up lots of money. That's why we still have the old clunker too, and don't watch it much because it is so fuzzy..

Of course, we could easily get one of the $500-700 ones, but they are too big and bulky, not flat screen, etc.

Didn't it used to be easier????? <gg>
