Croc, I think it's a transition from a dog eat dog rapid breeding hierarchical alpha-male tribalistic world where there are always shortages to a world of private property, voluntary interaction and exchange.

We are half-baked, with the old genes and memes mixing it with the new ways.

Bossy people like to tell others how to be, confiscate their property and lives and run the show. That's been the normal way of the world in all societies for eons.

Now it's changing and has been for 1000 years, bit by bit, here and there and increasingly so.
