"If you think Cisco is a great short....short away. While you may be correct, your reasoning and rationale are extremely flawed." Where did I even say or hint Cisco is a good short? I've never shorted a stock in my life. All I said is they have not convinced me they are anything but a high quality, but over valued company. If they canned the stock options, they would rate as a great company. As it is, they won't get my money. I try to only buy companies that I think are below fair value as investments. I might try a trade on Cisco again as the last one was quite profitable, but I've found I do better to buy and sell companies with a better "valuation net" should my timing be off.
