Dollar Index/POG Monthly 99-04 (I just used the free data online so I couldn't get Nov 04). Since I have the daily data, do you know of any software I could put this into to get MACD, RSI etc? Do I need vols for that, which I don't have?

(I used NYBOT and Englehard)

For example, on Jan 25, 99 you needed 32.7 ounces to buy one unit of the dollar index (if I decimalized DX it would be 0.32)

Now (Oct 29, 04) you need 19.9 (0.19). You need 1/3 less gold now than in 1999, or another way to put it you could buy 32.7 ounces. 32.7/19.9=1.64, so DX has appreciated by 1.64 in gold.

I wish I had better data...
