I don't keep current on the parish scene. Here in Oregon, one of the archdiocese just declared bankruptcy because of the pedophilia problems.

I was raise Catholic, and so I'm somewhat familiar with that Church. There is a fascist organization within the Church called "Opus Dei". I understand that Antonin Scalia is a member of this sect. These people are dangerous lunatics. They probably have a special shrine for Benito Mussolini.

But the most radically evil Christian threat to decency and morality is the "Dominionist" movement. These people are real creeps:

Greed, grasping and grotesque distortions of "God" seem to be what these mutant sectarians are all about. And the scary thing is that they appear to have captured the White House.
