That's why I call him quick Carl. Get your profit then get out. Reinvest profits in some other situation where there is a good chance for a big windfall. Mylan is just such a case. Carl practically invented the word greenmail. Michael Milken isn't around anymore to line up his funding. He might be able to line up some financing now because of his fortune. He's probably hoping a would be suitor might bite Mylan eventually. IMO-This guy has no intentions of running a company. He's Just doing it because he can. Snip-from a MYL PR "We do not believe that Mr. Icahn's letter by any means constitutes a serious offer for the company," Mylan Chairman Milan Puskar said in a statement. "Icahn has a long history for self-serving actions, and we believe his letter is just another self-serving publicity device." Icahn, Mylan's largest shareholder, has balked at the price the company plans to pay for King, whose products are facing tough competition from cheaper rivals. King is also in the midst of reviewing its financial records and may need to restate its results, a move which could allow Mylan to walk away from the deal. Icahn said on Friday he knows of three potential buyers who would have an interest in Mylan but declined to name them.
