Things are heating up in the Ukraine. And I don't think there is a long time line in this situation. Anything may precipitate some kind of police or military action. The country is basically divided, and the 20 million ethnic Russians who live in the Ukraine look to their fatherland for support. It is a high stakes game of brinkmanship, and one side or the other has to back down. financialtimes.printthis.clickability.com Some Americans are outraged that puny Putin has the gall to try to keep Ukraine in the Russian sphere. This whole episode is a mess, and the first losers might well the the Ukrainians themselves.
