No world outrage with the UN?

Not much said in regards to the oil for food program?
Our dues to the UN is over 7 billion dollars per year. I wonder how much of that went to the coffers of Saddam and his sons?

Why is it that we hear no outrage from the rest of the world, in regards to the UN's misuse of these funds?

It seems that we are a country that is held to a higher standard when it comes to the rest of the world.
We can not do anything, without the world giving us their point of view, in regards to what they see as our misuse of power.

Yet they do not expect the same standards from the UN nor themselves?

Now I realize, that we will always be the whipping boy in the world. It makes them feel better about themselves, by allowing them to be less responsible yet giving themselves the supposed right to be more verbal in how we should act; with a free pass as to their own actions.

This is evident in the worlds reaction to the UN's unchallenged avoidance in co-operatating with those who are seeking to trace where all those billions have gone.

"Ask not from others what you will not do yourself."

If the world and the UN expect US to always be on the example of the moral HIGH GROUND, then they should stand by our side , when it comes to calling for a full investigation.
Its time that they put up or shut up! Principle behavior isnt a matter of just when it suits your own needs, or only when you need to point fingers at someone else!
