Thanks for your comments. I don't have much to add. My husband, "Buy and Hold" Bill, is standing over my shoulder, reading your note, and he's muttering about what Peter Lynch said about down-turning markets: that they're as natural as snowstorms, and you shouldn't live in fear of them or try to avoid them (which isn't, of course, what you were suggesting). Lynch said they should be viewed as opportunities.

This correction has certainly presented some opportunities. I'm certainly not snowed in.
