Hutchison Whampoa, a conglomerate controlled by tycoon Li Ka-shing, is reportedly in talks with a mainland government agency to sell its stake in Calgary, Canada-based Husky Energy.

Representatives from the Li family and the central government held talks in Beijing and Hong Kong weeks ago, Canada's Globe and Mail newspaper reported, citing sources.
