Looks like I/m the only one interested in Midway. Midway is benefiting form concessions Sega and Nintendo have been required to make to open up their markets to third party software vendors. They have had to loosen the licensing of software titles to allow Midway and others to sell without restrictions. Another factor that should positively effect Midway during the critical fall quarters is that Nintendo recently announced here in Seattle that they must delay the release of their major new titles until after the Christmas season due to programming delays. This will provide Midway with a more open market for their hot new titles to exploit. Adding to the potential is renewed interest in game systems and in 3-D software. The business is expected to become even hotter during the Fall. Midway's acquisition in Attari and heavy investments in new programs should realy pay off under these conditions.
