I prefer not speculate on the state of someone's mind in such a fashion. It is unseemly and usually unfounded. It is without taste. His thoughts are his. We can leave it at that and take him as a fellow poster. As I said, I am surely more insane. And that is rather rude. Would you filter all my thoughts through the realization of a diagnosis of mental illness, or take them for logic they hold?
