Most of the money has already been spent on stage 1, 2, and 3 trials
for Therafectin and Greenwich seemed to think it was promising; the
FDA also said it held promise but wanted further testing in a blind
study to complete stage 3 certification. If BLSI completes this
study successfully, then this stock is going to be a big winner; the
drug companies are all trying to get an effective rheumatoid arthritis
treatment and, with Zeneca's investment, Therafectin will probably be
taken to market soon after approval. The Altropane and other drugs
in the pipeline are pretty promising as well so, even though this is
a highly speculative biotech and a very small one to boot, in my
estimation it is worth the risk. I paid so little for my initial
stock that it looks expensive to me when it goes over 50 cents but I
also believe it's worth accumulating. By the way, I thought Canada
didn't charge tax on investment and gambling income; it's nice to
see the US isn't the only tax ogre out there. You don't pay tax on
lottery winnings and stuff like that do you?
