"Hard Luck Stan" of course brought to mind Robert Service.. robertwservice.com The Ballad of Hard-Luck Henry.. by Pierre Burton artdamage.com Canada's singing ranger Hank Snow does an excellent job also... partial to Stuart Hamblin's renditions as I used to have his LP "The Spell Of The Yukon" Big Wicked Bill etc.. but it got lost in the shuffle.
