I will never forget the face of that Mom. I was only about 15 feet away so I was able to get a grasp of the emotional response. She looked horrified. I will never forget her expression as long as I live. Even my Republican husband remarked, " That's all you get back when you gave your son. A small stack of paper, a purple heart and a flag. THe 22 years you spent preparing him for life is all gone." This soldier had his family send him soccer balls so he could pass them out to Iraqi kids. He also gave out 20 dollar bills because he wanted to help the Iraqi people who were in such dire straits. IT was the agenda of a few old men in Washington thaT took his life. Shame on George Bush and his cronies. :>( Pat
