Clapper,
<What kind of a work out are you doing?>
OK, now that you asked.....I am trying to work out six days a week. On three of the days, I use these machines that have an adjustable cylinder that you can add tension by pressing a button on the grips - there are a series of them that strengthen legs, arms, back etc. After a half hour of that, I do 40 minutes on a cross trainer followed by stretching (yoga type stuff). On the other three days, I do aerobic exercise on the eliptical trainer, bike, or rowing machines followed by yoga type stretching. I've seen guys use these giant beach balls to do stretching on - they say it is great for you, but it looks really stupid. For three days a week, I coach a hockey team at 6:00 in the morning - I get some heavy duty aerobic exercise skating in addition to the regular work out.
The diet stuff - I have gotten in the habit of low fat diet over the past three years from the heart attack - I just have to lay off the breads and crackers.
I have to keep myself psyched and set a goal otherwise I will easily fall off the wagon - building wells is a great cause.
Let's keep eachother psyched up on this deal...I can use the help!...even if we have to stay in eachother's faces.
I don't like going on a diet...so, we gotta make some fun out of it.
