FYI..... STEM up about 7% at the moment.

Stem cell referendum passes in Switzerland; Korean woman able to walk

Supporters of stem cell research received some good news over the weekend. A strong majority of Swiss voters on Sunday approved a ballot measure that would allow embryonic stem cell research using so-called leftover human embryos from fertility clinics. Also, the AFP reports that a South Korean woman paralyzed for 20 years is walking again after scientists repaired her damaged spine using stem cells derived from umbilical cord blood. Researchers say it was the world's first published case in which a patient with spinal cord injuries had been successfully treated with stem cells from umbilical cord blood.... Continued positive stories could benefit stem cells stocks such as STEM, ASTM, GERN, CCEL.OB.
