Will doesn't have to resort to throwing raw meat. How else can he explain it? Why couldn't it be: 1. Universities attract smart people and smart people think alike? 2. Truth is pretty much self evident. 3. If you have time to study and think, you arrive at conclusions differently than most people who do not have the time, the bandwidth, and the desire to study and think.
