Completely false. The deference He showed to the poor was shown also by His Father long before He came to earth. The Pharisees had lost this fact so that by the time Christ came to live as He did, He appeared radical. You folks haven't a clue about Jesus - not even the slightest clue at all.

He believed in hand outs to the poor.

But not by stealing from people via inflation and social programs and then forcing them to give to the poor via taxes. He believed in handouts to the poor in precisely the manner that we believers give to the poor. We give to the poor of our own love and willingness, as a measure of our devotion to the Living Savior. And we give these handouts to minister to physical needs so that we might get opportunity to minister to what truly ails hurting people - their spiritual corruption. Heathens haven't a clue about helping hurting people. You simply steal and transfer goods and yet you are still murdering millions of children, still creating untold pain and suffering with your shortsightedness and spiritual stupidity. You have no authority to preach to me about compassion since you are such flagrant and ardent murderers of those who need compassion the most.

Today's Right probably has him rolling in his grave, lol.

Nope. It is only the left that believes He is in the grave. Believers know of a certainty that He is not.
