I came back on saturday. Travelled through the brunt of the storm, though. Heard that it was absolutely impossible to get off the hill yesterday, so very glad that we left saturday (that was our original plan in the first place. It was great to see the size of the storm and the water content of the snow. Might help to alleviate some of the drought worries.

A week or two ago, I saw an article posted by MD where they were saying how this el nino wasn't looking to be as wet as most and that the lake was at critical levels...etc....Back in the late 70s/early 80s, the drought was much more severe and the lake was much lower. It only took two good winters to return the lake to traditional levels (as opposed to natural levels, which is about where the lake is now).

I want to do some comparisons between the Nikkei and the Naz, I haven't done that in a while, but I think that we might be in a prolonged (large) trading range...and at the top of that trading range. I was looking for more momentum going into the new year, but I am seeing declining momentum, so I am becoming less bullish.
